Kennis Wiser is consultancy without complexity.
We believe pragmatic people, armed with data and supported by servant leaders, create extraordinary results.
We will always say what we think and make tough decisions when they are in the best interest of our clients, partners, organisation and last but not least you. We encourage you to share your failures with us and your lessons learned so that we can all learn and grow from them. At Kennis Wiser, this is what courage looks like.
Innovation is the process of creating a new method, idea, product or service. It is out of the box thinking. We have a passion for learning quickly and innovating, something our clients have as well. We encourage reading between the lines and having a natural curiosity. Kennis Wiser challenges the status quo so that your organisation can experience growth.
An autonomous team means alignment with wider objectives. Alignment ensures everyone is working towards the same goal and are sharing a common purpose.
We fundamentally believe that diversity is essential. This belief reflects us as a founding team and the belief that characteristics don’t determine excellence, your commitment to excellence does.
Embracing diversity - of race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, nuerodiversity and sexual orientation among others - allows a business to widen its skill base and become more competitive and innovative.
We want you, for you! We won’t ask you to comprise your uniqueness, or conform to outdated principles or standards. We are committed to seeing you excel and sharing your genius with our clients.
Our leadership ethos
The servant-leader is a servant first, and focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of their people, and the communities to which they belong. By empowering others and sharing power, they put the needs of others first and help their teams develop and perform as highly as possible, whilst safeguarding the strategic objectives of the organisation.
Coach, Mentor Train (CMT)
Mentoring is generally informal between two people, whereas when you coach you’re like an athletic coach; identifying problems, making suggestions, providing guide rails and sometimes intervening. Training is formal, with well-defined learning objectives, and may be brief, aiming for knowledge transfer. As a leader you’ll participate in all three.
The Gemba Walk
Excellence is the quality of being outstanding and transcending the norm. You’ll not only master your craft but encourage and assist your team mates to continually improve, commit to minimising complexity and increasing simplicity.
Together we’ll value quality over quantity of work and our optimistic outlook coupled with your tenacity and humility will focus on results over process.
Steve Jobs said it best when he said “It doesn’t make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart smart people so they can tell us what to do.”
We take this seriously and our leaders do too. Our vision tells us where we are going, the leadership team communicates what needs to be achieved to enable us to get there, and you’ll decide how we should achieve it.
